Dr. LeClaire grew up in Connecticut where he attended Manchester High School. He then attended Amherst College graduating in 1968. After college Dr. LeClaire migrated to the Washington, D.C. area where he worked at various jobs and took science courses at the University of Maryland before deciding on a career in dentistry.
After graduating from the University of Connecticut Dental School in 1981, Dr. LeClaire practiced general dentistry in the greater Los Angeles area until doing a residency in his specialty of endodontics at the University of West Virginia School of Dental Medicine where he received his certificate in 1987 along with a Masters of Science degree. He then accepted a position at the dental practice in Sunnyvale, California where he continues to practice to this day. Along the way Dr. LeClaire achieved Diplomate status in his specialty, receiving his certificate in 1992.
Dr. LeClaire lives in Cupertino with his wife. He exercises regularly by going to the gym, swimming and bicycling. He enjoys listening to jazz and studying Mandarin Chinese.
